What Are You Seeing?

Who can tell what this photo is showing (other than just power lines)?

Steering Committee

Did you know that behind the Skyway/West Hill Action Plan (SWAP) is a team of local volunteers who come together to oversee the process as a Steering Committee? This meeting is open to the public, and you too can become a member of this team! We meet this evening at 7pm at the Skyway Water & Sewer building. Let us know if you’d like to come!

CSA Open House

Want to meet your elected officials and discuss issues related to Skyway/West Hill? Come to the CSA Open House on Thursday, May 21st. See link for details!

Tell King County…

What are YOUR priorities?

Please take a couple of minutes to rank your highest priority projects for our community. We have 4 (soon to be 5) surveys on different topics. Would you take just one of those surveys TODAY? Click below:

Only Two More Days People!

That’s right, only 2 more days until the Skyway Mural Design Contest ends. Did you get your design ideas in? There is still time (barely)!

Here is the entry form, in case you need it.

Contest reminder:

You don’t have to be an artist – just turn in some thoughts about what should be on the wall! We’re working with a professional mural artist (Angela Larsen – she used to teach art at Dimmitt! – see below), who will make sure that the winning idea looks great on the wall. So what we need now are IDEAS. We want this to be a community artwork!

Send me an email, or fill out the entry form and put it in the drop-box at either the Skyway Library or the Grocery Outlet.

WE NEED YOUR INPUT! Let’s make this mural a real community treasure.
